For seasoned photography experts Audree and Veronica of Kliks Photography, crafting a timeless photograph takes two steps. First, you obviously need someone to snap the picture; that's what Audree does. She applies her keen eye and more than 16 years of experience to boudoir sessions in order to compose and capture memorable, striking images. Then, she passes the images on to Veronica to complete the second step—professional editing. Veronica uses computer software to make the images look their best, deftly removing blemishes, cellulite, and vampires who forgot to go invisible.
The husband-and-wife team behind Black Dress Boudoir know how love and photography can intersect. Sparks tend to fly when their cameras flash, illuminating the vast interior of their boutique studio. During private boudoir photo shoots, the couple empowers women to strike poses that capture the sexy, seductive side of love. They have been doing this for long enough to know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes; rather than wrestle their clients into a one-size-fits-all template, they emphasize their natural features to create photographs that feel more at home tucked under a pillow than within the pages of a mass-marketed magazine. Black Dress Boudoir’s boudoir photo sessions aren’t just about the results. From start to finish, they pamper their clients by helping them select sexy outfits, guiding them through the various poses, and spraying them with a fire hose when things get too hot.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
So many people today lack the ability to truly capture the right moments in a photograph, and with the modern digital age, it is too easy to go out and buy a camera and take pictures. I have spent a great deal of time perfecting the skill involved in taking a fantastic photo.
What do you love most about your job?
Everything. Lets go out and shoot and have an awesome time!
Sam Taylor knows nothing lasts forever. But his use of 100-year archival photo paper ensures that, at the very least, his photos and the memories they arrest will last a long time. With this in mind, he captures clients in in-studio and on-location photo shoots, eschewing photo clichés for unique shots that bring out individuals' personalities. His made-to-last prints are coated to protect them from sunlight, finger oils, and burning gazes of admiration.
