This is a 90 minute walking tour that starts outside Garfield Trailhead in the Grand Traverse Commons Recreation Park. We then walk-rain or shine- through hiking trails and do a 30 minute investigation of the famous Hippie Tree ( a possible vortex into another ghostly dimension). We also retell some of the more famous ghostly activity and hauntings of the Northern Michigan Asylum (now known as the Grand Traverse Commons) and it’s west woods. We do NOT enter the Grand Traverse Commons buildings on this tour. We use actual ghost hunting equipment during this investigation as we hunt for the ghosts haunting the West Woods of the Northern Asylum.
