  • Karate Zoo
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Karate Zoo is a 100% kids karate program. (No adult classes provided.) This means that all of our instructors have a background working with elementary ages. All classroom activities are age-appropriate and packed with fun for any child! What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans? Parents are encouraged to find a "White Belt Only" class for their child to attend the first few classes. This will ensure the new student will not feel overwhelmed by more advanced techniques. (Class schedule available on the website) What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The Black Belt Director of Karate Zoo, Chris Foster, has 15 years experience coaching elementary aged sports and teaching elementary aged karate. His inspiration for launching Karate Zoo came from his desire to help all children find the leader inside them. What do you love most about your job? I think everyone in the admin office loves the positive parent feedback about the program. We take time to read out-loud these "Thank You Letters" from parents. It's a very important part of what drives the Karate Zoo Admin Team to be better and better!
