In that time, she has competed as a member of Ball State University's gymnastics team, coached high-school gymnastics, and judged competitions. Putting her certifications from USASF and USAG to good use, she now trains up-and-comers on The Flip Zone's competitive gymnastics team, reinforcing core values such as team spirit, discipline, and a healthy disdain for the Wright brothers, who took a coward's approach to human flight. Tots, teens, and adults hone their hand-springing skills within her 12,000-square-foot gymnastics studio. The expansive tumbler-dome houses a 40-foot trampoline, Olympic-grade equipment for men and women, and a 1,000-square-foot dance room. When she's not teaching teams, the gymnast leads recreational classes, including cheer and tae kwon do, or watch over littluns during preschool gymnastics programs, birthday parties, and open gym sessions.
