Each of the guitar coaches at American Guitar Academy are certified in the school's signature teaching method. Developed over 25 years, this house-honed instruction technique incorporates scientific research to help fingers learn to shred frets up to eight times faster than alternative methods. During private half-hour lessons, instructors guide budding rock stars aged 4 years and up through the basics of strumming chords and seamlessly stitching together riffs. These comprehensive lessons on classical, electric, or acoustic guitars are offered once a week with a live instructor or online and guarantee that students will be playing their favorite music within six months of training. Students may begin lessons without owning a guitar, but are encouraged to gain access to one quickly for mastering scales and the ability to solo with their teeth.
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I am a patient, articulate teacher and have many years of experience teaching, playing, composing, and arranging. My years of piano experience give me an advantage over other ukulele and guitar teachers.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
I provide everything you need as far as instructional materials. You only need to bring a ukulele.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
A student saw my piano teaching ad and asked me if I would teach her ukulele. It went well and I now have a thriving business teaching ukulele.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping others and I love playing the ukulele. It's a fun, easy-to-learn instrument and it takes no previous musical experience.
Mastering an instrument takes dedication, practice, and time, although it also helps to receive some professional guidance along the way. At Exploring Music, the Yamaha-trained instructors help budding musicians improve by providing personalized direction based on each individual's skill level and musical aspirations. Private and group lessons meet in practice studios that have been insulated and reinforced for sound reduction, helping students to fully concentrate on mastering their instrument of choice, be it the guitar, the violin, the piano, the saxophone, or the five-disc CD changer.
The skilled instructors at Inspire Music Center encourage students to express themselves through song during beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons in a variety of instruments, including electric guitar, cello, French horn, and voice. Its ensemble of music graduates and seasoned performers uses its extensive musical knowledge and collection of 20 different instruments to teach aspiring musicians proper playing techniques, practice methods, theory, and how to topple glass houses with high notes. In addition to honing students' music-playing skills, instructors prep advanced pupils for professional auditions, instrumental competitions, and concerts.
