The tasting portion was excellent. While I have a lot of traditional grape wine tasting experience, I have no experience with other fruit wines. I learned a lot, the wines were good and the overall experience was excellent. The tour was interesting and informative. Considering all the "goodies" (bottle of wine, cans of wine, glasses, and corkscrew) that came with the price of admission, this was an excellent experience and value. We plan to bring other guests here.
Afternoon Tea and Sweets at William Dean Chocolates for Four
We did afternoon tea this past Sunday and it was lovely! The sandwiches, pastry, and chocolates were all delicious. Surprisingly, my favorite sandwich was the egg salad sandwich. The kids loved the cheddar scone. Susan told us about the history of William Dean Chocolates. We are so glad that they have the location in Midtown and plan to expand their offerings!
My groupon account was hacked! i did not purchase 3 e-gifts, but apparently the perps did!!! Groupon has been notified via email, since there is no customer service number to call for Groupon, fraud or otherwise. Beware!!
KK was kind by giving me their corporate legal phone number, so I've reported these security breaches by Groupon to them. I do love KK donuts tho so I'll give em 5 stars!!
