Knoxville Guide

Situated in the Great Smoky Mountains and being one of the largest cities in Tennessee, Knoxville has an abundance of things to see and places to go. With this Knoxville guide, residents and tourists alike will get a glimpse of some of the wonderful things the mountain town has to offer. Those looking for a central location for dining, shopping, playing, and other entertainment will see that there are several things to do in Knoxville Market Square District. People can grab quick lunches at 31 Bistro and Cafe 4, or they can sit down and enjoy full meals at Nama Sushi Bar and Oodles Uncorked. Shoppers can refuel with fresh gourmet coffees and unique desserts at Coffee & Chocolate. Whether looking for clothes, home decor, or souvenirs for a vacation, there are dozens of shops in Knoxville Market Square District to suit all shopping needs. First Friday is one of the best Knoxville deals because it is a free event. Studios in the district host exhibits on the same nights and offer free wine and food for those who attend. People can find a number of Knoxville things to do by exploring the city’s rich history, culture, and tradition. Knoxville revamped its image by hosting the 1982 World’s Fair, and people can still enjoy attractions in the World’s Fair Park such as a splash pad, Sunsphere Tower, and a free observation deck. Those looking to hear some great local music can head over to the Old City which is a section of town that has been brought back to life with blues, jazz, and rock music. This section of town was once avoided by residents and visitors alike, but has since become one of the hottest spots for nightlife in the city. A guide to Knoxville can only begin to illustrate the countless things to do, see, and hear in the city.

Two Tickets for Alpine Coaster Ride
This was so much fun! We paid an extra $10/ea to go again. There is a camera that takes your picture towards the end of the ride (I never could find it for a better photo than me laughing going full-speed). Would absolutely go again.
