Botanical World assists patrons in accessing Hawaii’s exquisite natural resources through a series of interactive trails, tours, and zipping activities. Shielded in safety gear, participants soar through trees above tropical scenery during zipline adventures, savoring bird's-eye views of waterfalls, volcanoes, and whales emerging from the aquatic depths during the winter. Before or after their airborne excursion, visitors can navigate through acres of lush gardens and across sturdy rope bridges on foot or by riding atop chauffeur pelicans. Guests reunite with the ground to master gliding skills during half-hour Segway tours that trek past trees filled with wild orchids, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Customers part ways with transportation for the remainder of their stay in Botanical World’s abundant acres brimming with thousands of international exotic plants. Flanked by Cook pines and the Hanapueo Stream, the arboretum teems with trees yielding flowers, fruits, and nuts. Perennial plants, a cactus garden, and an orchid wall that constantly sprouts new varieties lines the Rainbow Walk’s more than quarter-mile of paved pathways.

After photographing a magnificent view of the dormant Mauna Kea volcano, visitors can ascend to the top of the Kamaee Falls and marvel at water plummeting from a rock cliff into a crystalline pool nearly 100 feet below. The second-largest permanently planted maze in the world, Botanical World’s herbaceous maze is composed of weaving rows of mock orange bushes that stretch beyond the span of a football field as puzzle solvers and confused linebackers attempt to steer their way out.

Hawaii’s lush beauty is too abundant to be experienced solely on foot, which is why Botanical World offers up-close-and-personal views of the Big Island's meticulously kept botanical gardens with services including ziplines and Segway tours. Segway riders speed past swaths of exotic plants, trees, and scenic waterfalls as they explore the garden's meandering pathways during self-guided or guide-guided tours. Elevated zipline trips, meanwhile, send guests soaring over the Hanapueo Streams falls, showing off trees’ receding hairlines as well as stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby Mauna Kea volcano.
