Since 1971, Car-Vel Skateland has fitted feet with quad skates for enthralling laps around its indoor rink. Inexperienced wheelers can improve their balance and gliding skills during private lessons or get a group together for private or public birthday parties. Named after mom and dad, Carl and Velma, the family-owned business also offers beginner skates and skatemates to assist younger children at an additional cost, as well as parties geared for schools, churches, daycare groups, and fundraisers.
