Robots are good for many things, including freaking out dogs and launching war on mankind, but they often lack the gentleness of a human touch. Rather than having bitter robots washing your car at a gas station, this Groupon gets your ride the luxurious hand washing it deserves.
Choose from Three Options
- $59 for one Level I mini detailing (a $125 value)
- $99 for three Level II washes and waxes (a $225 value)
- $139 for one Level I full detailing (a $280 value)
During the 90-minute wash and wax, technicians hand-wash and dry the exterior, dress tires, clean the outside and inside of windows, wipe down the interior, and apply carnauba-paste wax. The 1.5- to 2-hour mini detailing adds vacuuming, an interior shampoo, and a fresh scent to the above services; instead of using carnauba wax, the detailers finish the job with liquid wax. The full detailing spans six to seven hours and includes all the services of the mini detailing as well as interior leather cleaning, an exterior clay-bar treatment to remove embedded grime, and a machine polish instead of the liquid wax.
Divine Auto Salon
Divine Auto Salon runs on eco-friendliness. Inside a facility equipped with recycling bins and high-efficiency lighting, green cleaning solutions cajole dirt into releasing its grip on cars. Each solution comes from exclusively corn-based containers that, unlike plastic containers or Volkswagen Beetles, will break down over time. And the company's unconditional love for water means less of it gets wasted during each wash.
Before getting the green light, Divine’s technicians undergo three weeks of extensive in-house training that includes classroom time and hands-on detailing experience. Then, and only then, are they ready to walk customers through each step of the detailing process, explaining goals and revealing where cars most like to be tickled. These technicians enjoy more than just listening to dirt scream in protest as it's wrenched from vehicles, though. They also find joy in outfitting front ends with custom 3M bras, repairing dents without using any paint, installing SunTek window film, and updating headlights with HID conversion kits.
