Drink the District

The founders of Drink the District noticed a problem with DC nightlife: young professionals were spending too much money and enjoying too little fun. So, they simply inverted the equation. Their reasonably priced events aim to entertain as much as possible, while still catering to the youthful suit-and-tie crowd. Weekend-long beer festivals celebrate such holidays as Saint Patrick's Day, when everyone is Irish, and Presidents' Day, when everyone is a president. Participants can sample unlimited tastes of more than 75 beers from regional and national breweries, browse the gourmet finger foods from local food trucks, and synchronize their chews to the sounds of live entertainment.
