$21 for a Spokane River Tubing Trip for Two ($40 Value)

Tubing parties of two are shuttled from parking the parking lot on the northeast bank of the Spokane River to the launch site, where they suit up in provided personal-flotation devices, slip into their inner tubes, and set off on 2- to 2.5-hour trips along the scenic river's pine-tree-lined and rocky coasts. Though not included in this Groupon, customers may hire a guide to accompany them on the trip. Tubes launch Saturday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and by reservation Monday through Friday, July 6 through Labor Day.

Flow Adventures

Flow Adventures’ intrepid explorers introduce adventurers of all ages and skill levels to the thrill of navigating Washington's backcountry. Tours take place on the Spokane River, with idle inner tubing on the TJ Meenach stretch and whitewater rafting on the lower Riverside State Park section. Before groups set out, staff conducts briefings to ensure safe expeditions. Though they stress safety, they still take a lighthearted approach to trips.

“The tubing trip is a fun summer activity for a hot sunny day. I believe this is their second year in business. Since I tubed with Flow Adventures last summer, I have definitely noticed improvements regarding the convenience of paying, tube transportation, etc. I anticipate things getting even better as they work out the kinks of a new business. Last year I went in June, this year the end of July...both very different experiences due to the difference in water levels. The tubes have cup holders, so I would greatly recommend bringing a beverage in order to stay hydrated. Also, don't forget sunglasses; the bright sun reflecting off of the river on a clear day is brutal.”
