In a Nutshell

Celebrated Beatles tribute act concocts a concert of music fans’ dreams in a visual and sonic showcase of hits

The Fine Print

Live music is a huge improvement on canned music, which takes up valuable pantry space and often spoils into noxious free jazz. Keep it fresh with this GrouponLive deal to see Beatlemania Now at the Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center. Choose between the following seating options:

  • For $35, you get one G-Pass for orchestra seating in rows L–FF (up to a $70.65 value, including fees).
  • For $46, you get one G-Pass for orchestra seating in rows A–K (up to a $92.40 value, including fees).

Doors open one hour before each performance. For each option, choose from the following showtimes:

  • Saturday, February 9, at 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 9, at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 10, at 2 p.m.

Because the ticket is a G-Pass, Groupon customers can use it to enter the venue directly; they will not need to redeem their Groupon at will call.

The concert of music fans’ and scream collectors’ dreams comes to fruition as Beatlemania Now shines in an electrifying performance. Historic ‘60s backdrop footage illuminates the famous quartet’s ascent from mop-top town to hippie xanadu while the band plays with a devotion to the music hailed as “nothing short of genius” by the New York Daily News. The faux four dig deep into their Beatle depictions in a show full of hits, striking visuals, and clever costume changes, pegging important details such as Paul McCartney’s left-handed playing and Ringo Starr’s fear of soup.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through Groupon's mobile app.

Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center

Nearly a century ago, the Hippodrome opened as a combination movie palace and vaudeville theater, spending more than 70 years hosting big names such as Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra. Following a double-decade period of slow business and bad hairstyles, the Hippodrome closed in 1990. Now, however, after an exhaustive restoration project that reanimated the theater’s chandelier-lit arches, the mural above the proscenium stage, and the grand-theater boxes that hark back to opera’s heyday, the Hippodrome reopens to the delight of Baltimore’s cultural landscape.
