Ian Harvie

Many comics riff on their fear of using the public restroom, but Ian Harvie will tell you how easy they have it. One of the world’s first trans-gender standup comics, Ian is a masterful storyteller who channels his understated charisma and relatable charm to connect with audience members of all backgrounds. Ian performed standup on the Logo Network’s OutLaugh Comedy Festival and on Comics Unleashed on ABC, and has been hosting his own self-produced talk show from a Los Angeles nightclub since 2007. Lauded by Margaret Cho as “not just great looking… [but] an awesome comic and a terrific pal,” Ian has also worked with LGBTQ icons such as Jane Lynch, Alan Cumming, Kimberley Peirce, and Buck Angel.<p>
