Justin Spencer formed Recycled Percussion in 1995 as a high-school talent-show act that gave life to an original junk-rock sound, which eventually led the troupe on cross-country tours and launched it into the finales of America's Got Talent 15 years later. The 70-minute main-stage show at the Tropicana Las Vegas combines auditory fireworks and visual wonderment as the quartet rhythmically rattles improvised instruments during original arrangements and unique renditions of beloved rock songs. The band performs many daring feats throughout, such as hanging sideways and upside down while playing their garbage-can drum sets, and using chainsaws and power grinders to create dazzling showers of sparks and industrial beats. In the show-stopping ladder act, two members pound out nonstop beats while climbing steps and juggling sticks, all before taking an epic dismount from the top step. Each audience member is given a unique instrument and a drum stick before the show, allowing them to take part in the musical revelry by creating syncopated beats and playing a nearby skeleton’s ribs like a xylophone.
