Running was popular in Europe long before it caught on in America, which is why most races are measured in kilometers and why most of the Pilgrims were eaten by bears. Race to the top of the food chain with this Groupon.

Omaha's Great Pumpkin Run
Omaha's Great Pumpkin Run gives racers ways to get another wear out of their Halloween costumes—if they prefer, that is. For the kids'-themed 400-meter Boo Dash or Monster Mile, or the all-ages Spooktacular timed 5K, participants are encouraged to don their scary or silly Halloween getups. And just like the costumes, running is also encouraged, but not required, as participants can go at the speed they feel comfortable; whether it's a fast-paced run, brisk walk, or a dance-aerobics-laced jog if you're dressed up as Richard Simmons.
