Boasting a warehouse-like setting that features dancers frolicking amid exposed-brick walls and hardwood floors, Vega Dance Lab provides a setting perfect for picking up new moves or reenacting the lost musical sequence from Reservoir Dogs. Classes are open to dancers of all experience levels, but are designed primarily for dancers age 16 and up. Alternatively, the studio helps bolster heart rates and shed calories in fitness classes such as Tease & Tone or Cardio Funk. See Vega Dance Lab’s schedule for upcoming classes.

Vega Dance Lab

After several years of suffering through classes filled with tweens, or missing sessions because of rigid scheduling, Evie Graham started her own dance studio. At Vega Dance Lab, everyone from people who have never strapped on groove shoes to seasoned adult students can school their left feet or untalented dancing bears in nine dances on a drop-in basis. Shuffle-savvy instructors school pupils in burlesque-inspired choreography and rocking hip-hop.

Teachers also integrate dance into intensive workouts such as Cardio Funk, an exercise regimen set to hip-hop music, or Tease & Tone, a session divided between 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of dance. Lessons kick off six days a week in Vega Dance Lab's graffiti-decorated warehouse where students can test their latest moves in a spacious environment.

The Groupon Guide to: Earthmoving Equipment

Heavy-duty construction vehicles were put here for one reason—to help us mold and shape the earth into something that isn't so unattractive. Here are the main machines we use to pretty up this place:

Bulldozer: This powerful vehicle got its name from its inventor, a bullheaded child who set out to create a machine capable of clearing away all the dangerous, sleeping bulls that stationed themselves near his bedroom window. Today, construction workers exclusively use bulldozers for carpooling and pushing their garbage off the construction site and into the street.

Forklift: These are only used in emergency situations, such as when a building begins to shake violently because one corner was made shorter than the others. To remedy the problem, the construction workers will prop up the faulty corner with the forklift and then elegantly integrate the vehicle into the actual building by covering it with cement.

Backhoe Loader: Construction workers aren't even sure what backhoe loaders do, which is why they always just light them on fire for warmth on days when the temperature dips below 70 degrees.

Why do so many skyscrapers have corners that appear lumpy?
