Should Be Nice When Complete Renovations are underway and I didn't get one of the renovated rooms on the 9th floor however my room was still clean and comfortable though rather dated! Occupancy was low and parking was a bit of a mystery at first. I thought I would need to park in the garage but it was practically empty so I circled through and then ended up parking on the side, which is where everyone else apparently parked. The most surprising thing was my dinner. Because I had been traveling and was really tired I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant/bar. I asked the server which entree she would recommend and she quickly said Salmon. I love Salmon but rarely order it in restaurants because it's usually overcooked but it sounded good so I got it anyway. It was great! Served with rice and lovely grilled vegetables it was like the Salmon we cook at home. This will be a great hotel for UT home games when it is finished. The hotel has a huge lobby and has the potential to be really nice - especially since they are now part of the Marriott/Bonvoy group. I will return but will ask for a renovated room next time!

Remodeling Hotel was being remodeled. A/C didn't work and the toilet was leaking water from under the base. The hot water went ice cold every little bit while showering. Manager said they'd make it up on my next stay. Yeah okay

Views! We stayed on the 9th floor. Room was renovated. Beds were cozy. Room has a small refrigerator. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Rain shower head. Shampoo and conditioner available. Views were beautiful! Quiet and clean. Staff was exceptional kind. Restaurants onsite as well as a bar. However we did not use these. Would def stay again!

Comfortable This hotel is currently under some renovation, which is always a good thing. It shows management/ownership is active in caring for their investment and it benefits clientele in the long run. We had a double room that was adequately spacious. Beds were comfortable, pillows plentiful, and the room was furnished well, not to mention very quiet. Front desk personnel were very nice. My only hiccup- my son and I went to the Hill Street Cafe for breakfast with only a few minutes to spare before the buffet closed. They could have turned us away, but the gentleman host politely sat us. We went to the buffet tables and my 16 year old son made it back to the table first. When I got there, he explained a woman named Darlene told him the buffet was closing and he would need to take his dishes back around to the kitchen. When I arrived on the scene, it seemed as if she had a change of heart and was attentive to our needs and took the dishes herself. I tipped her knowing all this. There's no excuse for making assumptions about him on her part but I feel that's exactly what she did. I let it go but I wouldn't hesitate to address this issue with her if I were her manager. She may be thankful I didn't.

Great Stay They put us in an old room at start, but then changed us to one of the new renovated rooms on the 9th floor, because we didn’t like it. The new rooms are very very nice! I can’t wait until the hotel is all the way renovated. The old rooms are really bad, BUT the new ones are amazing! Zach, did a great job at the front desk. Also, I can’t talk enough about how GREAT your bar staff is!!! Samantha is crazy crazy amazing with her own cocktails! Everything we had of hers was the BEST I have ever had! Brandon and Samantha really worked hard to ensure everyone was taking care of! You can tell they really care about their guests. I really want to point out how great they are! This hotel is so lucky to have people that care so much about their guest! I hope they get the recognition they truly deserve for their service. They really have that southern hospitality down. I want to comeback just to come to the bar again, because they made it so much fun! We had a lot of people there! Samantha was all over the place. I really don’t know how they kept up with everything, but they did! If you go to Knoxville Marriott go see Brandon and Samantha at the bar!! Ask Samantha to make you one of her special drinks! Great staff all around. I would love to stay here again with my friends!
