Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham of Morris

Was expecting the worse, but found this DI to be very nice! It seems that it has been a while since someone reviewed this motel. After lot's of problems finding places to stay, I must tell you that I was extremely pleased with this Day's Inn. The parking lot was plentiful and the price was good for a double room for one night. The Night Manager was helpful to find a room with a bathtub, and check in was smooth. Elevator worked to get me to 3rd floor and was pleased with the room. It smelled a bit of disinfectant, but was fine and better then the last two places I had stayed on this trip. The room was CLEAN ... beds, sheets, and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioner was quiet and kept the room nice and cool like i wanted. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot for a comfortable bath. Vending machines on first floor with good ice machine. Comfortable sleep with no loud noises. In the morning I enjoyed a "lobby waffle" and sausage gravy with biscuits. The gravy and biscuits were as good as the ones I paid $12 for earlier in the week. The morning manager was very nice and had me checked out in minutes. Overall, I believe this Day's Inn was a diamond in the Ruff.... if you are in the area, give it a try!

Horrible experience Don't waste your time going to the days inn in Morris Illinois. This place is terrible . The place needs a deep Cleaning from top to bottom. The lobby smells as all common areas . The pool area needs to be clean. Rooms smelled and were not cleaned burnt marks on the tub in the bathroom. If I could rate less than a zero I would! The light breakfast in the morning that area where they have it needs to be cleaned and sanitized between usages. Again I highly recommend you all skip this dump

You get what you pay for! Room rate was reasonable, good location and comfortable bed. Desk clerk was accommodating when I requested a room on the 1st floor. On the negative side, breakfast was on the meager side and the thinnest and scratchiest towels I have ever seen. If you need to exfoliate your skin, you’re in luck!

Pleasant overnight stop Looking for a reasonably priced, clean, safe, pet friendly place to spend the night on our road trip. Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham of Morris filled the bill in this regard. While the front desk attendant didn't offer a warm greeting, he was quick to help us with a minor problem with a newly installed wide screen TV.

Amazing Walked in to hotel 1 am to no one at the counter and a drunk guy past out in waiting room with natty lights litter around him just mumbling, saw two sets of room keys for I assume the next day took them great experience!
