Pat Lieske is a master of shooting sports. He has spent more than 25 years honing his skills in clay-target shooting, game hunting, and wing shooting, among other specialties. Today, Mr. Lieske shares his expertise with others as the owner of Michigan Shooting Centers, which hosts Pat Lieske's School of Shooting. At his ranges in Brighton and Lake Orion, Mr. Lieske trains students of all ages and skill levels.

The Art Experience, a full-service art supply store, wields their aesthetic expertise to professionally custom frame whatever clients wish to make wall-ready. Capable of handling large-size frames such as 40"x50", the staff collaborates with quality glass ($15+), hundreds of mat boards ($14+), and multifarious metal and wood molding options ($7+/foot) to showcase décor-to-be of any shape or size at its cutest angle. The volume of in-house materials ensures that newly sandwiched and bordered pieces return to their owners as quickly as possible. With a custom-framed piece, blank walls can finally cover their nudity stylishly with sleek, snappily bordered diplomas, cereal boxes, and ATM receipt collages.

Fitness Rx's team of instructors deploys to dozens of locations throughout southeastern Michigan to lead a staggering array of fitness classes. Whether they're guiding groups through kickboxing's strikes, yoga poses, or Pilates’ core-strengthening moves, they draw on their diverse backgrounds, years of experience, and enthusiasm. Additionally, trainers meet for one-on-one or semi-private sessions, and supplement workouts with nutrition support to help clients achieve varied goals, from building strength to fitting back inside their high-school-graduation cap.

Throughout the year, the 91-acre Charles L. Bowers School Farm educates students of all ages about science, agriculture, and livestock. But as the season's change, so does the farm's lineup of family-friendly outdoor activities, welcoming guests of all ages for autumnal activities including corn mazes, pumpkin picking, and wagon rides. Like the 1958 Plymouth Fury, the farm's corn mazes come in both haunted and unhaunted varieties, challenging explorers of all ages with 2.5 miles of twisting, turning paths. Should they find their way out, guests can reacclimate to life on the outside by striking up conversation with the resident rabbits, sheep, and llamas. From there, they explore the pumpkin patch for a perfect pie or jack-o'-lantern candidate or ride one of the farm's ponies, which turn into pumpkins at midnight.

Inside Excel Academy of Cosmetology’s 8,000-square-foot facility, aspiring aestheticians, manicurists, and cosmetologists staff a 47-station clinic. There, guests can enjoy a number of spa services performed by senior-level students under the supervision of an experienced instructor and Anna Wintour's all-seeing gaze. The Academy is stocked with up-to-date industry equipment and class sizes are small so that senior-level students are amply prepared to treat guests in their area of expertise.
