When Kyle Berner went backpacking in Thailand, he didn't expect to find the inspiration for a new business. However, when his flip-flops broke and he needed new ones, he bought a new pair from a local artisan that changed his life. Made by craftspeople using sustainable, all-natural products, these flip-flops are very similar to the ones now purchased by Feelgoodz customers all over the world. Since then, Thailand-based Feelgoodz has developed into a travel-inspired, casual lifestyle brand that creates footwear and accessories featuring ethically-sourced natural rubber, genuine leather, and handwoven textiles crafted by artisans across the globe. And Berner hasn't stopped seeking out new partnerships; his company now works with partners in Guatemala, Pakistan, and Vietnam to provide both quality footwear to his customers and a living wage to rural rubber farmers and weavers.
