What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Amarillo Karate is the oldest most respected Dojo in Amarillo teaching over 14,000 students since 1981. Taught by a 9th Degree Master Black Belt that is certified in Karate, Taekwondo, Krav Maga, & MMA. We have had 23 State and National Champions. All Black Belt graduates are Certified Nationally and Internationally.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Children are our future. "As the Twig is bent, so grows the Tree". I started this business to help people become more confident and have higher self-esteem. We are making the world a better place, one child at a time.

What do you love most about your job?

We love to see the accomplishments of our students. We watch them grow and prosper as strong confident Black Belts and as Adults.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

We have had several students that may have emotional or physical disturbances and with our program, we were able to help them with Confidence, & Self Control as well as Self Defense. With every one of our students, they gain skills to help them in life as well as self defense. Our students are calm, cool and collected under pressure. They set clear obtainable goals and meet them. We have had several State and National Champions, Professional fighters, Karate Instructors, police officers, Medical Doctors etc. A recent law school graduate, told me that the moral lessons she learned at Amarillo Karate, she applied daily in her studies, and today in her Practice.
