Passion was missing. As DonnyElle followed a traditional course to college and then beyond into jobs such as teaching and waitressing, she craved something more, something that didn’t feel like such a, well, job. The turning point was an interview with MAC Cosmetics, which pivoted her direction toward freelance makeup artistry. Strengthened by a newfound passion for her work, DonnyElle eventually became a licensed aesthetician. With well-developed skills and love for her trade guiding her, she now serves her own clientele with skincare services at Beauty by DonnyElle Skin Salon. Here, she presents a menu that includes facials, makeup application for various occasions, and waxing.

In addition to performing the work she loves, DonnyElle finds satisfaction in nonprofit work. Through an organization called Glitz & Grace, she strives to improve the self-esteem of young girls.
