The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, Atlanta

The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation is one the largest state-wide non-profit organizations in the country. It's focused on preserving the endangered properties and on educating the community about the history of the state through local resources. Apart from helping students discover the historic aspects of their neighborhood, the organization supports the community and creates a variety of events, such as the Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle, followed by a Halloween-themed party on the lawn of Rhodes Hall.
