What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Detox Day Spa offers reasonably priced, self-service detox therapies for busy lifestyles. Activate detoxification, flush toxins and hydrate your body -- all while enjoying services in a spa-like environment. We also help clients with chronic pain management.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I personally suffer from severe chronic illness, and fought my way back from the brink of death after cancer and HIV to become healthier, stronger and happier by resetting my gut immunity. I now want to help others who suffer from inflammation in their bodies due to toxic build-up from the food we eat, water we drink (bottled water included!) and personal-care products, such as facial moisturizer, deodorant, toothpaste, tampons, etc.

What do you love most about your job?

I LOVE helping people remove pain and inflammation to help give them relief to be able to enjoy life again with their family and friends. We only have one life to life, and we shouldn't have to be chained to chronic pain or illness.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

There are so many. One client, who has fibromalgyia, after a full-spa session said she hasn't felt this good in three years. "If I could do this every day, I would be here every single day," she said. I get testimonials like hers weekly from clients, some with tears in their eyes, because I can help give them their lives back.
