While there isn't as much military stuff there as there was a few years ago, it was still a good experience just for the military stuff alone but admission into the custom car side is also included. There are several collector cars, many styles for stagecoaches (even a king's), some of Carl Casper's autos, as well as KITT, the A-Team van, Batman stuff, the General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard),and Fonzi's bike.

Fascinating collection of carriages, rare autos and military history! Our entire family enjoyed this facility! Highly recommend and we will most likely visit again!

You get into both the Kruse Auto museum and the National Military History museum (which are in the same building). Definitely give yourself at least a couple of hours to explore both. There are some really neat artifacts, however the signage explaining them isn't always the best. I wish it was better curated, but it was definitely a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

I didn't go due to an accident, but gave it as a Father's day gift to dad and boyfriend's step dad. They loved it. They said they would go back again another time.

From Our Editors

The National Military History Center celebrates the contributions of the American military through the service and sacrifice of all individuals involved from the Revolutionary War through the Cold War. Exhibits detail the events of Pearl Harbor, the Women’s Service Corps, and the War in the Pacific. The Pearl Harbor exhibit features artifacts and education materials including photos of the attack and copy of President Roosevelt’s speech to Congress on December 8. Visitors can see how soldiers survived in their day-to-day lives with displays about medical practices and combat rations, and in-depth stories about maintaining relationships during war. Located in a 200,000-square-foot facility that also houses the Automotive and Carriage Museum, admission includes access to both museums. The automotive museum boasts professionally-restored carriages, movie cars, custom cars, monster trucks, motorcycles, a local racing gallery, and more.
