What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Impulso Dance offer salsa dance classes. We are the only dance school in Austin speciaizing in Salsa dancing and the only school to offer 90 minute classes twice a week. Our unique approach to teaching lowers the bar for learning salsa dancing and provide a massive shortcut to learning the dance.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? The inspiration to start this business came from a Norwegian economics professor who realized that his dance teachers (because they have natural talent) had no experience being a complete beginner like himself. He saw the need for a systematic approach to teaching salsa dance that use a language and references that people who have never danced can relate to.
What do you love most about your job? Through dance we are able to provide happiness and increase the social wealth of our students. We don't just teach dance, we arrange parties and events and bring our students into the "real" world of salsa dancing. People gain increased confidence, become able to light up a party and we gain a lot of friends!
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? You are the best teachers I have ever had in my life.
