Blacklight Run Austin is a party even at the starting line, where a DJ spins for soon-to-be runners wearing glittery, glow-in-the-dark finery. More DJs line the 5k course, each playing a themed set, and the electronica continues at the finish line party where the hosts throw lasers into the mix, too. During the party, dubbed NYTE LYTE, runners dance and splash each other with paint amidst neon laser beams, sporting their free glow-in-the-dark sunglasses, bracelets, and dentures.
