What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I will meet with you to make a cast of your baby bump. This cast will be used to create a ceramic bowl in the color of your choice. Maternity bowls are a beautiful way to preserve the memories of your pregnancy, and can be used for baby photo shoots, or as unique center pieces in your home.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I've seen many people make plaster pregnancy casts, but these casts wear out over time and are not very decorative. I decided to take the concept of a belly cast one step further by making it into a functional piece of art that is a durable, waterproof, food safe piece of pottery.

What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing photos of the babies in the bowls after they are born. I love knowing that someday when that child is grown, they will look at the bowl I made from their mother's belly and think "Wow! I used to be small enough to fit in that bowl!!"

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
One new mother was very emotional when she picked up her bowl and said "I can't believe I'm crying over a bowl!"
