If you've never tried yoga, don't be afraid to come here. All the teachers I've had have been fabulous and accommodating. Start with a restorative class or a basics class.

Difficulty finding address since studio is not right on street and a parking lot is in front of studio. Recommend allowing 20-30 min. extra to locate studio or do a separate drive-by prior to attending a class. Staff was helpful in identifying the beginning classes that are of interest to me.

The air conditioning is absolutely terrible. I honestly didn't even know it was on! It feels like hot yoga in the afternoon and they actually open the window to the BAKERSFIELD HEAT to cool it down! I'd say expect just a few degree difference from the outside temps to the yoga room temps. Also bring water! With that said, the yoga itself is good and I like it. The different classes are taught by good teachers and they all so far explain things really well and will help you out with positioning and better ways to move. It smells a bit like sweat in the yoga room and the floors aren't cleaned between sessions so I try to not touch the floors and just stay on my mat. Overall I'm glad it groupon

This studio is gorgeous, relaxing and perfect for any level of yoga. I went over a year ago to their old studio and loved it, now being 31 weeks pregnant am trying out their new studio and am just impressed. The teachers are very patient and helpful.

Barre Class
Specially designed for Inner Bodyworks, this Barre class takes the dancers' workout and combines the wisdom of yoga and strength of pilates to build strong, long, and lean muscles. Controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetitions to develop a dancer's physique much faster than you can imagine! This class is low impact, fine-tuned to deliver the best results without the knee and low back issues often associated with ballet. We use light weights to sculpt the arms, tough ab and glute work on the mat, and of course, Barre work with variations you have never seen or felt. Set to a great selection of modern trip hop and house music. No experience required. This class is designed to make everyone feel welcomed and successful
Core Work
This class will focus on stabilizing and strengthening the core and back through yoga with vinyasa and core work. This class is excellent as a complimentary class to our flow classes. Level I will be accessible to any level student including those new to yoga. This class can be helpful for rehabilitating your back and preventing future injuries

Intro to Yoga
Build a strong foundation for a life-long, successful practice in this introductory session. Designed to accommodate students of all fitness levels, people with existing injuries, people who have taken a few yoga classes and people who have never set foot on a yoga mat. Hatha Basics
This is a good class if you are new to yoga. Alignment and form are emphasized and breath work is encouraged. Provides a highly attentive and supportive environment.
Flow 1
Building on basics and adding more flow. This class is still appropriate for beginners as well as ongoing students who like the pace of this class.
Flow 2
A wider variety of postures are explored, building strength and flexibility.
Flow 3
This is an advanced level class. Students should feel comfortable working in a wide variety of postures including backbends and inversions.
All Levels
During busy times we wanted a class that could suit most levels- this class will offer modifications for each level student. In yoga we should always listen to the body first and foremost. It is recommended brand new students attend a one of our beginner's classes before attempting all levels so a basic understanding of postures is gained.
Playful Practice
Teachers and students practice together in our most playful and advanced class. Students must have a consistent yoga practice to attend this class. Be prepared to explore and be challenged.
Restorative
A combination of breath work and gentle poses. This class is designed to restore your body's energy and vitality. This is a very gentle class and appropriate for anyone. If you have any injuries or are pregnant, this is the best class for you.
Ananda
In this class you focus on the energy within the body; the poses are a meditation in motion, there are pauses after each pose to re-center, and each with each pose the instructor offers an affirmation that helps attune the mind to the energy flows awakened by the practice.

Roll and Release
This class utilizes foam rollers and a simple yet dynamic stretching practice. The key to encouraging flexibility is keeping our myofascial tissues pliable and supple. This class is a great addition for stiff bodies and for athletes of any kind, though anyone will benefit.
Core Works
A vinyasa class where core work is emphasized. Level 1 is great for any level student. Level 2 introduces more challenging work.
Stress Relief
Stress is the brains response to any demand. While this response may be beneficial in the short run, chronic stress can suppress many functions that aren't needed for immediate survival, such as, lowering immunity and decreasing the functionality of your digestive, excretory and reproductive systems. Over time, continued strain from routine stress may lead to serious health problems, such as, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, anxiety disorder and other illnesses. The science of yoga offers many tools to help manage the stress response in your body. This class will offer body movement to help relieve tension from the muscles, breath-work to help reduce the physiological effects of chronic stress along with relaxation and meditation techniques to bring the system into balance.
Therapeutics
One time or another, injury will happen to the body. It can be a very frustrating, long process to recovery. In this class you will learn about range of motion of each joint, common injuries and how to bolster, strengthen, and use yoga as part of your recovery. This can be a one-time drop in class if you want to learn some tools to help you in your regular routine or it can be attended week after week. Sequencing is restorative in nature with a specific focus each week.
