My husband and I are preparing for our wedding renewal and attended this class for salsa lessons. We had a lot of fun and can't wait until our next class!

I bought this for my girlfriend as a gift for us to spend together. I went to the "beginner" class. It was by no means "beginner" oriented in my opinion.
I certainly didn't expect to become an expert or even decent after one class but the pace was much too fast. I understand that there are multiple couples there and at varying skill levels. However, it would have been better to slow the course down, concentrate on one aspect at a time and memorizing those before moving on to the next.
Not only would this lead to less frustration and me dreading going back for a second class, but it would encourage me to go to more classes in the long run in anticipation of improving over time.

Classes with Ron in beginners and advanced levels are good, the guy teaching the intermediate lesson needs to organize more the class, especially the rotation system. They should play more music as well.

you might want to slow it down. not everyone is getting it. it would help if you--periodically--went around and watched and helped people individually. otherwise, they are just practicing mistakes.
At Salsa Obsesión, dance students step into an environment that is as diverse as it is energetic. Sprightly instructors lead four different tiers of classes, starting with Beginner 1 sessions, which focus on such skills as counting the beats, basic footwork, and working with a partner. Subsequent class levels ramp up the difficulty, enabling students to advance their technique without having to abandon Salsa Obsesión's welcoming climate.
