Well organized event with nice party at the end.
Great deal/Steal using groupon.
They got screwed by the bus co. And a lot of people got sick from waiting while wet and cold in the rain.
Also SUPER inconvenient not to have a bib packet pickup location at a sportsbasement in sf.
Had a delayed start for the 10k, which was a downside due to lack of shuttles from the start. However which also sucked for those who got to the start early because we had to wait in the rain.
It was raining but it was a wonderful experience!
Very poorly organized. The pushed back the 10k by 30 minutes which made the runners just wait in the rain with no communication

The Berkeley Half Marathon returns on November 19, 2017 for its fifth year. The route represents a running tour of San Francisco, starting at Milvia Street, just south of the Berkley Civic Center, tracing through the UC Berkeley Campus, winding through the serene residential streets of North Berkeley, cruising along the waterfront near the Berkeley Marina, and more. Runners can choose their own distance: the half-marathon is 13.1 miles, the 10k is 6.2 miles, and the 5k is 3.1 miles. Regardless of the race they choose, runners are rewarded with beautiful sights and loads of camaraderie.
