I felt very welcomed by the office staff. however I was disappointed with the treatment. I was not properly informed that It could be quite painful. I was sat in a chair and then left there to have my teeth bleached. At one point it was hurting really bad but I couldn't speak as I had the machine in my mouth and there was no one in the room to waive to. The nurse forgot to put the glasses to protect my eyes from the light for a good 20 min when I asked her if it was very harmful she said no but while she was readjusting the machine for 2 min she made sure she ha her glasses on?! After the treatment the pain got really worse leaving the doctor's office I was already in pain. The doctor saw it and just said to take Tylenol as if I had a headache. I couldn't sleep that night despite all the pain meds, I was biting my hand to feel less pain in my teeth. On the Internet people who had the zoom procedure said their doctor's gave them some sort of anaesthetic for their teeth to decrease the sensitivity. I wish I had been giving something and that the doctor was more concerned with the pain the zoom bleaching can cause.
