The Tanning Boutique oozes sophistication—from the sleek leather seating in the lobby to the tanning beds themselves, which offer the latest in tanning technology. Established in 2003, the upscale Westwood studio offers a wide variety of tanning and skincare options for UCLA students and West LA residents alike. The boutique was even featured on an episode of "I Get That A Lot" on CBS with celebrity guest Rita Ora.
The Tanning Boutique is home to several types of UV tanning beds, including both standup and lie-down options. Customers can even choose a Designer package, and spend time in both styles of bed to achieve optimal color. All the beds are designed to provide natural-looking tans and reduce redness, and some are equipped with facial tanners for that perfectly even, golden hue.
Clients can try two sunless tanning treatments at the studio: Pura sunless tans, and custom airbrush tans. Guests can opt for automated Pura airbrush tans, whose nourishing sunless formula not only imparts a golden glow but also hydrates and softens skin, or for a more personalized UV-free tan, The Tanning Boutique offers custom organic airbrush tans applied by one of its technicians.
The Tanning Boutique's service menu also includes PuraBright skin brightening treatments. Customers step inside an automated booth, which is designed to fade age spots, reduce excessive pigmentation, and even skin tone. The PuraBright system also includes a line of lotions and solutions formulated with medical-grade ingredients to turn back the hands of time and make skin appear younger.
