Skier's Peak did not do what they said they would do. Our ski drop-off experience was delightful. We talked with the owner, Bob Thomas, who assured us what to expect from our "Performance Tune" that our Groupon offered. They said the skis would be ready in a week and for us to just come by - no need to call - and they wouldn't be calling us either. I called just a few "hours" short of a week and the skis were not yet ready. A short time later they called to tell us that we could pick them up. When we went to get them, they had not done what the owner said they would do. Bob was going to correct the issue while we waited, but moments later a clerk came back to inform us of an additional $15 charge for each pair of skis. After much conversation about it, Bob agreed to finish the job at no additional cost and we could pick up our skis in another week, but also said that he would call us when they were ready. Two weeks later we hadn't yet received a call and when I tried to call him, the call was dropped without an answer. So, I went to their web-site and emailed Bob - but did not get a reply. I tried calling again and this time Bob answered my call. However, even though he knew exactly who I was and I'm sure he must have known if our skis were done, he put my call on hold for probably two minutes before coming back to tell me they were ready for pickup. My husband and I were very disappointed at how dirty the skis were when we picked them up. A little whisk with a whisk broom would have made them look much better. This is the sloppiest job I've ever seen. We are now hoping that the skis weren't sabotaged and we won't know until we ski on them later this month.
