From Our Editors
Allegro Wine has proven for nearly four decades that you can produce excellent wine in Pennsylvania. The idyllic 16-acre vineyard grows seven varieties of grapes, which it transforms into wine in a 6,000-square-foot production facility. Of course, the best way to get a taste of what these seasoned wine pros do is to pay them a visit. In their Strasburg tasting room, they welcome tiny groups of tasters (six people or less), keeping crowds small in order to better answer customers' questions about their more than two dozen wines.
