Since Moni Aisik began practicing self-defense techniques at the age of 8 in Israel, he's met with success: he won multiple national titles in his youth, and as an adult, Aisik joined an elite Israeli Special Forces commando unit. He has also trained other instructors, including Marine veteran and certified level 6 instructor Richard Ransom. At Combat Survival Idaho, Ransom shares his expertise with students. Groups learn how to protect themselves in real-life situations with krav maga—a style of self-defense that draws from boxing, muay thai, jujitsu, and other techniques. Ransom also incorporates cardio kickboxing into classes, helping students to improve fitness levels.
