During their customized lessons and camp sessions, they instill in their students the importance of safety, as well as building trust and emotional connections with their steeds to overcome riding anxieties and enjoy their rides more fully. Trail riding basics and horse care techniques are practiced alongside the setting and building of riders’ expectations of themselves and the horses to foster positive relationships with the kind, gentle creatures. Instructors also teach young riders a number of additional skills during standard and knight-themed camps, including leadership skills and how to conquer stable chores.
