Nearly a century ago, Sam Rosati's passion for delicious Italian cuisine laid the groundwork for Rosati's Pizza. Starting with his father's New York restaurant in the late 1890s and continuing in Chicago, where Sam opened his own eatery in 1927, the family perfected their craft. Rosati's signature "Italian Style Pizza" became a sensation, featuring homemade tomato sauce on crispy bread. In 1964, the first Rosati's Pizza in a Chicago suburb ignited a culinary revolution. By 1979, the family's dedication to quality led to franchising. Rick Rosati and Sam Rosati expanded the tradition, opening their own locations in 1970 and 1996 respectively. This marked the fifth generation of Rosati family members committed to serving authentic and irresistible Italian cuisine, ensuring Rosati's Pizza became a household name for generations to come.
