Greasy food. Was disgusting. I DO like the steakhouse next door.

Excellent waiter, Ron. We had hit wings, fettuccine Alfredo w shrimp, & fish & chips. Everything was great! This is a bar, so smokey inside. We dined outdoors. Music could be turned down for us older folks! This is not Outback Steak House. We would go back!

Very slow service. My husband ordered grouper and the server thought he said Reuben. She left my meal and I finished it and we waited another 30 minutes before the grouper came out. The food was good but the restaurant was a smokey bar.

We tried to use our Groupon for one of the appetizers, which the waitress said they were out of, so she suggested the most expensive appetizer on the menu that was more than our Groupon value of $10.98. I would have thought since they were out of what we wanted, they could have offered us the one she suggested at $10.98- it was only $2 difference and would have gone a long way for customer satisfaction.

We thought we were going to the restaurant. The bar was dark and loud, like a bar which is just not our thing. I'll be careful reading next time.

Good food and great service from a guy working the bar and room and the room upstairs alone. He was all over the place and very nice.

Being in a smoking establishment made it more difficult to breathe. It would be nice if there was a non-smoking section. I smelled like smoke all day after coming out of the Pub. The food and service was fantastic.

Great burger... It was a small place mostly a bar, it is in MO so there was smoking :( They over charged each meal by $1 from printed menu prices. It got pretty busy and the bartender/ waiter was the only person working besides the kitchen staff, so service wasn't that great! Great Burger, bad service!

From Our Editors

Linda and Steve Wood broke the ground on their first Australian-themed enterprise when they opened The Outback Steak and Oyster Bar in 1987. Over the years, the eatery garnered enough attention from Ozark visitors that it inspired the couple to open the Outback Outfitters clothing store in 1989. Nearly a decade later the Woods converted the store into the Outback Pub, adorning its walls with Australian articles and serving a menu of down home, exotic fare. Wild appetizers such as kookaburra-sauce-laden gator tail cause taste buds to don tiny safari caps before trekking through entrees of seasoned grouper or the tavern's specialty Shepparton chicken pot pie. Sips from more than 100 beers bring tides of malty and hoppy flavor, while live entertainment hosted every night gives the dinner crowd a soundtrack more pleasing than compliment-whispering earmuffs.
