During hyperbaric therapy, a trained technician mans the computer system that controls the environment within an enclosed chamber. While the client rests inside, the technician adjusts the chamber's pressure, while slowly replacing its air with 100% oxygen. (By way of contrast, the air humans normally breathe usually contains only about 21% oxygen.)
