Nunu Chocolates, Brooklyn

Named after an African term of endearment, Nunu Chocolates was created from the idea that the world is a better place when chocolate is involved. The press seems to agree that the world is a better place with chocolate, specifically Nunu's treats. Bon Appetit said Nunu had some of the best chocolates in America and Real Simple deemed its chocolates to be "heaven."

The chocolates are made using single-origin cocoa beans from a sustainable, family-run farm in eastern Colombia. Top-notch ingredients make their way into the truffles and caramels, too.

In Nunu's cozy Brooklyn shop, visitors can relax with a latte or glass of wine while watching the store's owners whip up the chocolates from scratch. They can also sip flights of craft beer, some of which even finds its way into the confections available to purchase, like the Nunu six pack beer box filled with beer-infused truffles.
