Lincoln Beer Company, Burbank

After years in the film industry, beer fanatic Patrick Dunn decided to make his home brewing hobby into a career. Initially, brewing was done in Patrick's garage. Since Lincoln Beer Company has taken off, though, operations have moved to a full-fledged brewery and taproom. In this space, bartenders pour up tastings and fill growlers while guests enjoy board games and corn hole. The beer is never the same, either. 12 beers are always on tap, but the selection rotates to keep things interesting.

• Hollywood Way IPA: brewed with four different kinds of hops, this IPA has a complex flavor (6.5% ABV)
• Anytime Fiesta: this red ale is flavored with a sweet and spicy mixture of habanero and vanilla (6.2% ABV)
• Barrel Aged Triple C: rich notes of coffee and chocolate fill out this deep milk stout (8.5% ABV)
