My fiancé and I came in for help to dance to our “first dance” song at our wedding. The instructor was phenomenal and made us feel at ease, comfortable, and confident in our dancing skills! I would highly recommend!

Dancing at Queen City Ballroom, is a delightful way to raise your vibration, burn calories and make new friends! The instructors and staff are friendly, patient, encouraging and so talented. Great music, beautiful atmosphere and so much fun. Group and individual lessons are a joyful and uplifting experience. Warning- may cause excessive happiness 😄Join the party!

Every moment spent there has been wonderful. I felt welcome from day one, even though I didn't have a partner and had not danced for 11 years. I attended a group class and party, and then found the Groupon to try private lessons. I'm so glad I did!! I LOVE my new hobby! Daryl is a great instructor and we always have a blast.

Wonderful instructors. We took dance lessons for my sons upcoming wedding. We’ve had so much fun were continuing with the dancing. I highly recommend Queen City Ballroom to anyone looking for great instruction and fun.

With 28 years experience serving Charlotte we are the first and most elegant grand ballroom in the Queen City and we set the standard for dance instruction in the south.
What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring? We provide highly trained professional dance instructors as well as a fun environment for you to learn to dance. All you need to bring is your can do attitude and be ready to have a great time with or without a partner.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I realized how much Ballroom Dancing has improved my life and the lives of people around me. I want to share that with everyone.
What do you love most about your job? Our instructors love helping people find their passion in life, as well as seeing them adopt the new lifestyle dance offers, including increased self-confidence, better health and fitness, grace, poise, social assurance, and a sense of personal accomplishment.
