Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines music, dance, acrobatics, and martial arts to create a fitness and cultural experience. Capoeira has opportunities to improve flexibility, coordination, endurance, balance, musicality, meet new people, and learn Brazilian Portuguese.

What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water and a towel. Wearing shoes in the class is optional.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Capoeira is a unique martial art because it allows participants opportunities to meet new people and travel to new places. Capoeira can improve your health and wellness through many of its movements and exercises. Lastly you learn a new language!

What do you love most about your job?
Capoeira has provided me with many opportunities to meet new people, travel to new places, and push my body to limits I never thought possible. I enjoy seeing students push themselves through new heights physically and mentally.
