UnCommon Art Space, Charlotte

UnCommon Art Space, a sister school to Art in the Dairy, showcases and engages visitors with the works of budding local artists. The Commonwealth Park painting center's exhibitions have included the expressionist paintings of Jerry Kirk and the innovative work of Phillip Larrimore, who crafts hologram paintings on layers of aluminum screening. At painting classes and workshops for the general public, professional artists share their skills and teach amateurs tricks, such as how long it takes to dry a painting by blowing on it.
