What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Conversa Language Center has been teaching ESL to students in Cincinnati for 27 years. Our classes are in-person with friendly, dedicated, and experienced teachers. Class size averages 5 students, so every student has ample chance to practice speaking and get individualized attention.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
There is a FULLY REFUNDABLE book deposit fee of $100 payable at the first class. Otherwise, students need only bring themselves and a willingness to learn!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Conversa was begun after the owners met in Costa Rica, married, and returned to Cincinnati (he was a Peace Corp volunteer and she was a Spanish teacher). They saw a need for Language classes in the community. Since inception, Conversa has grown, and come to specialize in ESL teaching.

What do you love most about your job?
Everyday is an opportunity to meet students from around the world and learn about different cultures. It is very rewarding to help students reach goals for college admissions, business, and travel!
