Middlefield Orchard, Cooperstown

Middlefield Orchard spans about 130 acres in Cooperstown, New York—that's just over one tenth the size of the whole town in which it resides. Those acres offer guests the chance to play farmer, containing over 10,000 fruit trees, berry bushes, and a pumpkin patch ripe for picking. Visitors stroll along the rows of apple trees, plucking over 25 different apple varieties and taking idyllic photos from hay wagons. And when it's time to stop playing pretend, they can traverse through a corn maze and take the fruits of their labor home in containers provided by the professionals.
