While working as an apprentice under renowned artists such as Vince Newlan, Billy Enriquez, Victor Paul, and Dusty Semmington, Joshua began to channel his creativity towards haircuts and coloring techniques that could transform hair. His fixation developed into a passion, inspiring him to delve deeper into the realm of haircutting and the world of color to discover inventive and new looks. The knowledge and refined skills he garnered over the years earned him a partnership with the Spanish product line Cromatique, as well as appearances at fashion shows, editorial photoshoots, and other special events.
