How often do you need to hear that your dishes are too HOT until you change them? After our dine there, a friend said she had the same experience about the food being too spicy HOT. We will NEVER go back to 301 on Main (and we are locals who dine out A LOT!) And I am from New Mexico and am used to eating chile.

Good food. Our service was very good, but I can see if the place gets busy, service will suffer. It seems like the kitchen is slow.

2dinners were great except that veggies with tenderloin had so much vinegar you could smell it across the table. Which meant indelible veggies and no sauce for meat.

Wine by the glass selection was limited and over priced.

My sandwich was good but my husband orders the BLT. It was dry, bread was over done. We both had cole slaw with our sandwiches and it was pretty tasteless. On a 1-10 scale would give it a 5. May not recommend it. Place needs some cleaning up, especially the floor. We are locals not tourists.

From Our Editors

Like the earliest alchemists, 501 On Main's Chef Andrew Sargent transforms organic and local produce into gourmet fare worth its weight in edible gold. After he puts the finishing touches on ratatouille, diners can knock down each layer of marinara-infused squash, eggplant, and red pepper in a controlled fork demolition. Fresh from the ocean, deep-sea scallops rest on beds of squash purée and braised leek, and grilled salmon burgers coexist with red onions and herbs between a toasted ciabatta roll. Chef Sargent also creates a unique dish for every night, forgoing the need to make meals exclusive by stamping them with the day's date. The eatery's interior matches the menu's casual yet elegant feel, offering high ceilings, huge windows on every wall, and hanging lights that fill the room with more warmth than a hanging coal furnace.
